Guacamole Hummus

Guacamole Hummus - Diary of a Formerly Fat GirlMy Guacamole Hummus (I was going to call it guacummus or hummamole but thought better of it) combines two of your favorite things and is ready in a flash. Plus it’s vegan, full of protein and fiber, and is just as good on crunchy veggies as it is on tortilla chips.

  1. 1 can chick peas, drained and rinsed
  2. 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  3. 1 clove garlic
  4. 1 very large (or 2 medium) avocado, quite ripe
  5. 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  6. Large squeeze of lime
  7. 2 tsp salt
  8. 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  9. Pinch of cayenne pepper
  10. 2 tsp wing sauce (I like Frank's)
  1. This is about as easy as it gets-- put everything into the food processor, and blend until fully mixed.
  1. If you don't have a food processor, a blender works just as well! If you're going to use a blender, to save time a little time, mash the chick peas and avocados with a masher before putting them in the blender.
